Lucinda Blumenfeld

black 3 quarter 2

With over a decade of experience in corporate and agency publishing, Lucinda lives on both sides of the literary and business worlds. Her specialty is in overseeing a strategy for all components of an author’s exposure, from literary representation to publicity and events. She likes to be considered a do-it-all marketer and partner with an understanding that books are just one, vital part of an author’s larger brand and platform.

Lucinda began her publishing career in the Publicity Division of HarperCollins, where she assisted on the campaigns of Stephen Dubner and Steven Levitt (Freakonomics) among other New York Times bestselling authors. She then went on to work in Scholastic’s Marketing Partnerships Division, where she helped to sell and create custom publishing programs for a variety of global nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies. Today, she represents business, health/lifestyle, popular science, and narrative nonfiction, as well as upmarket fiction. She has worked with all the major publishers and various independents. She does not represent genre fiction or graphic novels.

Lucinda studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and McGill University in Montreal. She is originally from New York City, where her company is based.
