With over a decade of experience in corporate and agency publishing, Lucinda lives on both sides of the literary and business worlds. She founded Lucinda Literary in 2011, which offers publicity and online marketing expertise alongside traditional literary representation. More recently, Lucinda Literary has expanded to include an authors speakers bureau.
Lucinda began her publishing career in publicity at HarperCollins, later worked in Scholastic’s Marketing Partnerships Division, and joined Fletcher & Company as a literary agent and marketing consultant in 2009, where she helped market bestselling authors such as Gretchen Rubin (The Happiness Project). Today, she represents trade business, psychology, lifestyle and narrative nonfiction, and literary and upmarket fiction. She has worked with all the major publishers and various independents. She does not represent genre fiction or graphic novels.
Lucinda studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and McGill University in Montreal. She is originally from New York City, where her company is based.
